Freshman Literature
THREE YEAR-LONG PROJECTS:
- Read independently from a list of 170+ titles 1,000 pages minimum, 500 per semester
- Maintain a writing journal and coursework portfolio
- Assimilate and master the use of 210 classroom vocabulary words through projects, writings, quizzes, and tests throughout the school year. Vocabulary will be incorporated into core writings and play a significant role in both semester final exams
