How to embed a hyperlink into a word or a picture

One does not have to paste in long Web addresses to create active links. URLs can be embedded into any word or picture.

Example:

4 Steps:

     1. Type any word, phrase, sentence you want to make into an active link (underlined and blue). This practice will use the word...

     2. Sweep to select and right-click on the word Minotaur; select Hyperlink...

 

     3. Copy/paste the URL from your browser to the Insert Hyperlink window's Address: bar; or manually type the URL

     4. Click on the newly highlighted text to follow the active link

Hyperlink to pictures the same way. Right-click any graphic inserted into Word and select Hyperlink. Follow the same instructions as above.
