The California Teach Tech Grant out of Sonoma State University was designed to reinforce the Intel® Teach to the Future Program by offering continued training online. Teacher participants got to take two courses from home and each earned a $1,000 stipend.

Through my affiliation with SSU and the Intel® program, I obtained a contracted postion as online instructor with the Institute of Computer Technology. I taught six courses with ICT between 1999 and 2001. In 2001 I began my Masters program at Sonoma State University and found an opportunity to write online curriculum. This was a greater challenge and better pay, so I took it.
